Where does mango wood come from?

It comes from the mango tree, which is also cultivated for fruit. Wood from fruit production can find a useful application in furniture. This does not prove that every product is a byproduct or comes from sustainably managed cultivation. Check the information for the individual item.

There is no general rule that every mango tree is felled after 15–20 years. Lifespan and productivity vary, so a fixed felling age is not a sound basis for a sustainability claim.
