Luxy combines anthracite tones, a low-pile texture and a generous size in one rug.
The LABEL51 Luxy rug in anthracite measures 160x230 cm. The top is made of wool and features horizontal bands in a stamped pattern. The underside is made of 100% cotton. The size is suitable for a seating area or bedroom without the rug having to cover the entire floor.
How to arrange the 160x230 cm Luxy rug in your space?
First, measure the area of the floor where the rug will go and mark out 160x230 cm with tape or newspaper. In a seating area, it often works well when at least the front legs of the sofa and armchair are on the rug. With a bed, the rug can be partially pushed under the furniture, so that a soft border remains visible on several sides.
The low-pile construction keeps the surface relatively flat and makes it easier to place furniture stably. Horizontal bands in a stamped pattern give the rug depth without creating a busy, figurative design. The anthracite colour scheme allows it to be combined with light woods, black metal and neutral fabrics.
The top is made of wool. Wool is a natural material; loose fibres during the initial period of use are normal. Rotate the rug half a turn occasionally to distribute localised wear and discolouration more evenly. On a smooth floor, a suitable non-slip underlay can provide extra stability.
Vacuum with a smooth nozzle and avoid a hard, rotating brush. Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean cloth and do not rub over the fibres. For thorough cleaning, use a method suitable for the specified material. For wool, the supplier recommends lightly misting the rug occasionally to keep the fibres looking beautiful.

Frequently asked questions
Does this rug fit a 2.5 or 3-seater sofa?
A size of 160x230 cm is suitable for a 2.5-seater or compact three-seater sofa. Place the front legs of the sofa on the rug for a cohesive look. Measure out the arrangement beforehand with tape.
Do I need a non-slip mat under this rug?
The rug does not have a non-slip underside. On smooth floors, we recommend using a non-slip mat. A non-slip mat also protects the back of the rug and the floor underneath.
How do I remove a stain from this rug?
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean cloth — do not rub. For wool, use a cleaner suitable for this material. Allow the rug to dry completely before use.
Does this wool rug shed loose fibres?
Yes, new wool rugs can shed loose fibres during the first few weeks. This is normal and decreases with regular use. Use a vacuum cleaner with a smooth nozzle without a brush. A hard brush head can damage the wool fibres.
How long will this rug last?
This rug is designed for daily use. Rotate the rug periodically to distribute wear and discolouration from sunlight evenly. With proper care, a quality rug will last many years.
