Anthracite, a low-pile texture with a subtle border and the solid dark shade and organic outer line give the rug a calm, asymmetrical appearance. Rug Mody brings depth to the seating area and gives the floor a playful shape.
Rug Mody by LABEL51 measures 160x230 cm and is made of anthracite 100% polyester. The top has a low-pile texture with a subtle border, while the cotton underside helps the rug lie neatly on the floor. The organic shape gives the seating area a playful accent and offers space for a sofa, coffee table, and loose armchairs.
How do you place rug Mody of 160x230 cm properly in the seating area?
Mark out the outer dimensions on the floor beforehand with painter's tape. This way you can see if the front legs of the sofa can stand on the rug, if the coffee table keeps enough space around it, and if important walking routes remain free.
The solid dark shade and organic outer line give the rug a calm, asymmetrical appearance. The color anthracite reacts to daylight and the shades of the floor and furniture. Therefore, do not just look at a detail photo, but also the proportion with wood, metal, and the fabrics already present in the room.
Vacuum at least weekly with a smooth vacuum nozzle. Blot up spilled liquids and treat a stain carefully with a small amount of water and cleaning vinegar. With viscose, caution with moisture is extra important; with polyester, regular vacuuming with a smooth nozzle remains the best basis. Turn the rug occasionally to distribute local wear and discoloration more evenly.
A suitable non-slip rug pad can provide extra grip on a smooth floor and helps prevent the edges from shifting. Choose a rug pad that stays within the outer dimensions, so it does not become visible along the edge.

Frequently asked questions
Does this rug fit a sofa of 2.5 or 3 seats?
A size of 160x230 cm is suitable for a 2.5- or compact three-seater sofa. Place the front legs of the sofa on the rug for a cohesive appearance. Measure out the arrangement beforehand with tape.
Do I need a non-slip mat under this rug?
The rug does not have a non-slip underside. On smooth floors we advise using a non-slip mat. A non-slip mat also protects the back of the rug and the floor underneath.
How do I remove a stain from this rug?
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean cloth — do not rub. For 100% polyester use a cleaner that is suitable for this material. Let the rug dry completely before use.
How do I vacuum this rug correctly?
Use a vacuum cleaner with a smooth suction nozzle without a brush. A hard brush head can damage the 100% polyester fibers.
How long will this rug last?
This rug is designed for daily use. Turn the rug periodically to distribute wear and discoloration from sunlight evenly. With proper care, a quality rug will last many years.
