A generous organic rug with a low-pile texture gives a seating area a softer, asymmetrical foundation.
Mody rug by LABEL51 is made of anthracite polyester and has an organic size of 200x300 cm. The top is made of 100% polyester, the underside of cotton, and the pile height varies from approximately 0.6 to 1.1 cm.
How do you place an organic rug measuring 200x300 cm?
The stone-like, asymmetrical shape means the size is not perceived as a strict rectangular area. First lay the rug loosely in the room and turn it until the curves fit well with the sofa, armchairs, and walking route. Thanks to the generous size, multiple furniture legs can be placed on the rug.
The low-pile polyester top is finished with a subtle border. The cotton underside helps the rug lie flat on the floor, but LABEL51 still recommends using an additional rug pad. This can limit shifting and provides additional protection for both the floor and the rug.
Mody is suitable for underfloor heating. In this case, follow the temperature and usage instructions of the floor supplier and check whether the chosen rug pad is also suitable. The total product height is approximately 2 cm.
For regular maintenance, LABEL51 recommends vacuuming at least weekly with a smooth vacuum cleaner nozzle. Dab up spilled liquids immediately; do not rub, as the stain can then penetrate further into the fibers. For a stain, you can carefully dab with a small amount of water and cleaning vinegar.
The anthracite color may look dark and almost black in the official product photos. Lighting, fiber direction, and screen settings affect the perceived shade. The organic shape and subtle edge finish ensure that the rug creates a clear shape in the room even without a pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this rug fit a 2.5 or 3-seater sofa?
A size of 200x300 cm is suitable for a 2.5-seater or compact three-seater sofa. Place the front legs of the sofa on the rug for a cohesive look. Measure the arrangement beforehand with tape.
Do I need an anti-slip mat under this rug?
The rug does not have an anti-slip underside. On smooth floors, we recommend using an anti-slip mat. An anti-slip mat also protects the back of the rug and the floor underneath.
How do I remove a stain from this rug?
Dab up spilled liquids immediately with a clean cloth — do not rub. For 100% polyester, use a cleaner suitable for this material. Let the rug dry completely before use.
How do I vacuum this rug correctly?
Use a vacuum cleaner with a smooth suction nozzle without a brush. A hard brush head can damage the 100% polyester fibers.
How long will this rug last?
With a pile height of 0.6-1.1 cm, this rug is designed for daily use. Turn the rug periodically to distribute wear and discoloration from sunlight evenly. With proper care, a quality rug will last many years.
