Natural jute, a grey cotton border and concentric woven bands give this round rug a calm, artisanal look.
The round LABEL51 Jute rug measures 90x90 cm and is made of natural jute with a grey cotton outer border. The hand-woven bands follow the round shape and add structure to a compact seating area, entrance or bedroom.
Where does a round jute rug measuring 90x90 cm best suit?
Use painter's tape to mark out the diameter on the floor beforehand. This will show you whether the rug fits completely under a round table, whether an armchair has enough space, or whether the size works well as a separate accent next to a bed or cabinet.
Jute is a natural fibre with visible variations in colour and texture. The grey cotton border frames the natural centre and helps to combine the rug with grey, black metal and various wood tones. Due to its handmade character, each piece is slightly different.
Shake the rug outdoors approximately twice a week and vacuum carefully with a smooth nozzle without a hard rotating brush. Avoid excessive moisture, as natural jute fibres can react to water. Blot up spilled liquids immediately without rubbing.
On a smooth floor, use a suitable non-slip rug pad that stays within the round outer dimensions. Turn the rug occasionally to distribute sunlight and local wear more evenly across the surface. Let the rug lie flat to acclimatise after unpacking and give any raised edges time to settle. Do not leave heavy furniture legs on one narrow spot for extended periods if you want to limit deep indentations in the natural fibres. Check the edges regularly and never iron down loose fibres.

Frequently asked questions
Does this rug fit with a 2.5 or 3-seater sofa?
A size of 90x90 cm is suitable for a 2.5-seater or compact three-seater sofa. Place the front legs of the sofa on the rug for a cohesive look. Measure out the arrangement beforehand with tape.
Do I need a non-slip mat under this rug?
The rug does not have a non-slip underside. On smooth floors, we recommend using a non-slip mat. A non-slip mat also protects the back of the rug and the floor underneath.
How do I remove a stain from this rug?
Blot up spilled liquids immediately with a clean cloth — do not rub. Use a cleaner suitable for jute and cotton for jute and cotton. Let the rug dry completely before use.
How do I vacuum this rug correctly?
Use a vacuum cleaner with a smooth suction nozzle without a brush. A hard brush head can damage the jute and cotton fibres.
How long will this rug last?
This rug is designed for daily use. Turn the rug periodically to distribute wear and discolouration from sunlight more evenly. With proper care, a quality rug will last many years.
