What determines the character of this armchair?

The silhouette of Nena is primarily determined by its mottled upholstery, rounded backrest and armrests, and swivel black metal base. The shape of the backrest, seat and base is more important for its appearance than individual decorative details. Therefore, it is useful to compare this version not only by color, but also by the proportions between the backrest height, seat, and overall external dimensions.

Dimensions and placement

The armchair measures 86 x 88 x 96 cm. The seat height of 43 cm and seat depth of 53 cm give a concrete idea of the seating proportions. In addition to the external dimensions, also reserve free space around the armrests and in front of the seat. For a swivel model, extra space around the chair is practical, so that the swivel motion does not immediately come into contact with a table or wall.

Material and maintenance

This version has upholstery in brown. For daily maintenance: Wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

Seating proportions of Nena

For a seat, the external dimensions do not tell the whole story about the seating position. The seat height is 43 cm. The seat depth is 53 cm. Use these proportions to compare the model with your current chair or armchair. The overall width and depth determine the required floor space; the seat dimensions show how the seat is constructed within those external dimensions.
